Spaoxy Gel Bright Plus is an at-home vitamin C mask powered by carbonation: you mix the gel and the powder fresh before every use and watch them turn into a fizzing micro-foam that carries APPS – an exceptionally stable vitamin C derivative – along with hydrolysed hyaluronic acid and royal jelly extract onto the skin. Made for anyone working on dark spots, enlarged pores and a dull complexion.

We added Spaoxy Gel Bright Plus to our range because it brings the carbonated cabin ritual remarkably close to home, cup and spatula included. Working with it in our studio, we liked how comfortable the treatment time feels and how cleanly the gel lifts off afterwards.

What Spaoxy Gel Bright Plus does for your skin

Effect

Visible effect: A brighter, more even complexion; dark spots and enlarged pores look less noticeable and the skin looks firmer and more vital.
Texture effect: The freshly mixed gel fizzes into a light foam and leaves the skin smooth and supple once rinsed off.
Comfort effect: The fresh citrus scent of natural yuzu, grapefruit, neroli and sweet orange essential oils turns the treatment time into a calm moment.
Best for: Normal, dry, combination and oily skin. Not for skin that currently feels sensitive.

Application

Step 1: Empty one gel sachet and one powder sachet into the cup provided and mix with the spatula until you have an even, pale, foaming blend.
Step 2: Apply the carbonated vitamin C mask in a thick layer to cleansed, dry skin, avoiding the eye and mouth area, and leave on for 20 to 30 minutes.
Step 3: Lift the gel off with the spatula, wipe the face with a damp cloth and rinse with water.
Frequency: Gentle course: daily for the first 3 days, then twice a week. Intensive course for dark spots, enlarged pores and dull skin: daily for the first 7 to 10 days, then two to three times a week.
Routine note: Apply VC Essence+ before the mask – the fizzing micro-foam supports the uptake of its actives. Follow with a moisturiser, and add UV protection during the day.
Precaution: Mix each portion fresh and use it straight away. If your skin currently feels sensitive, use the milder Spaoxy Gel mask instead.

APPS (ascorbyl phosphate 3Na palmitate): An exceptionally stable vitamin C derivative that reaches the stratum corneum far better than common vitamin C forms, brightening and revitalising the complexion.
Carbonation from sodium hydrogen carbonate, ascorbic acid and citric acid: Creates the fizzing micro-foam on mixing, gently stimulating the skin and supporting the uptake of the actives.
Hydrolysed hyaluronic acid: Low molecular weight, delivering moisture and leaving the skin looking plumper and smoother.
Royal jelly extract: Cares for the skin and supports a supple, elastic skin feel.
Squalane: Nourishes the skin barrier and helps guard against moisture loss.
Yuzu peel, grapefruit, neroli and sweet orange essential oils: Give this Japanese skincare treatment its fresh citrus scent.
