Azelaic Forte 25 treats the unevenness of the skin and reduces pigment disorders (melanoderma). It contains 25% azelaic acid and DermShield™ . The additive DermShield™ allows the cream to be applied without irritation. Azelaic Forte 25 contains 5% Alpha Arbutin .
The benefits of azelaic acid:
Azelaic acid is used to eliminate the bumps, lesions and swelling caused by inflammations of the skin such as papules, pustules and rosacea. Azelaic acid inhibits tyrosinase and in patients with dark skin (Fz IV-VI classification), has a positive effect as it has a certain extent a post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) after acne lesions. Azelaic acid is quickly absorbed into the skin without leaving a greasy film on the skin's surface. Azelaic acid can be used together with make-up or tinted sunscreen.
Do not use products containing azelaic acid during pregnancy or breastfeeding!
