What sensitive skin really needs
Sensitive skin often reacts quickly with a feeling of tightness, warmth or visible redness, and can feel irritated rather than cared for after certain products. In many cases the skin barrier is weakened, so external influences become more noticeable. A calm, reduced routine usually helps most: gentle cleansing, soothing ingredients and a protective care step that holds in moisture. Less is often more here. Instead of many active products, the priorities are tolerability, comfort and a stable skin barrier.
How to build a gentle routine
Start with a mild cleansing product that does not dry out the skin, then add a calming, barrier-supporting face cream. Lightweight serums with well-tolerated ingredients can round out the routine, but should be introduced one at a time and gradually. Avoid frequent exfoliation, heavily fragranced products or several new steps at once. If visible redness is also a main concern, the Redness & Rosacea collection can be a helpful addition.
